This post is more of a guide then post. It has been written for those who have had the misfortune of their Club Penguin accounts banned forever. Simmer 27 has been banned forever in the past. I thought that I would write this after reading the hundreds of comments on a short post written back in May of 2008. It is not very detailed, so I thought that I would give you guys a more detailed guide. So here goes.

Why Club Penguin Accounts get Banned Forever & What you can do to prevent it:

- Most accounts have been banned forever because of swearing or saying curse words. I would say about 90% of bans come from this. People do this because they want to see what happens when they swear. However, it is a very bad idea. Why? Because you can only have so many bans on your account until its forever.

- Another reason why accounts are banned is because they are “hacked.” Now when an account is “hacked,” its never REALLY hacked. It is merely somebody who sees your account online and then tries to guess your password. If your password is weak, it is much more easily broken into. Some examples of weak passwords are; Your penguin name, 123456789, password, clubpenguin, penguin, the first 5 digits of your penguin name, 12345.

If your password is one of these, there is a very good chance that your penguin will be banned because “hackers” know these techniques. If you have one of these passwords at the moment I suggest that you change your password ASAP.

- Other penguins are banned because they share there password with a friend. For example, lets say that you are with a friend. You tell your friend your password. Your friend promises to keep the password a secret, but he tells someone else. Eventually, the chain of people that know your password will grow and someone will ban your account. So never share your password.

- People are often banned because they try to hack stuff. Hacking Club Penguin is like using Club Penguin Money Maker. If you are caught, you will be permanently banned with little if any chance of getting unbanned. This is effective even if your penguin has not received any bans prior.

When a Penguin gets banned forever:

- Penguins get banned forever when an account does one of the following.

Attempt to hack items or coins and gets caught

Recieves 4 – 6 bans from swearing or being rude/mean.

The amount of bans needed to ban an account forever varies per penguin. I once made two accounts to test out this theory. One was banned forever on its 6th, the other 4th. Simmer 27 was banned forever on its 4th, but luckily, I got it unbanned. Now, for the part that you all have been waiting for, here is how to get your account unbanned.

How to unban your Club Penguin Account:

1. Ask a parent/guardian to help you. (Club Penguin requires this.)

2. Make sure that they do not have anything to go to for at least 30 minutes, for the conversation with Club Penguin could be long.

3. Tell your parents how/why you were banned forever and why they should call Club Penguin to unban you.

4. Tell them what you want them to tell Club Penguin. If you have a membership that has been pre purchased for 6 months – 1 year do the following.

- If Club Penguin says you cannot be unbanned, ask for your money back (this worked for me.)

- Club Penguin won’t want to give you your money back and will most likely unban you.

5. Have your parents call Club Penguin’s toll free number 1-250-868-8622

6. Press 2 once they ask you were you would like to be directed. This will direct you to the support department.

7. Your parents will talk to Club Penguin for a while. Make sure that they know your password and what parent account your penguin is currently under.

8. After sometime on the phone, Club Penguin will probably say that they will unban you under one circumstance. This is that they will only unban you once.

9. You will then be unbanned and your account should be running shortly.

Note: Do not ban your account again otherwise you will be banned forever immediately. And if you are banned forever a second time, your account WILL NOT be unbanned.
