Hi everyone! Matre here!

Here’s a post from Screenhog i found on Club Penguin’s site about the Festival of Flight.
 
Penguins may not be able to fly(Matre: I kind of disagree with that,how about our propeller hats? XD), but that doesn’t mean that Club Penguin can’t! In a few days, for the first time ever, Club Penguin will be an island in the sky.
 
When we first thought of the idea of putting Club Penguin in the sky, we loved it, but then we started asking ourselves some questions. What happens to the Beach or the coastline of the Cove? Can penguins still play Hydro-Hopper? And what does a device powerful enough to lift an entire island even look like, and where would we put it?
 
For the full answer you’ll have to wait until the party, but I can show you this behind-the-scenes concept art from when we were trying to answer all these questions ourselves:

Hey everyone! Matre here!

Remember a few days ago you were able to select a new furniture item? After the voting poll ended Club Penguin announced the winner! The Green Puffle Beanbag! Althought this item was wining by far since the poll started,i voted for it too

While reading The whats new blog,I found out the upcoming ”Underwater Adveture” is not a party like in February 2008. It will be a brand new play at the stage you will be able to see in August 21st.This kinda upsets me,I was hoping to have 2 parties!

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to let you know that I (simmer) will be going to Massachusetts, U.S.A. on vacation until August 22, 2009. I will not be available and WILL NOT be posting because we will not have an available computer. Therfore, all moderators CAN post the updates and the posts will NOT be edited by me.

Once again, Matre10 and the rest of the Simmer27.com team will be posting and moderating comments while I am gone! When I return to chicago on August 22, I will resume posting. See you guys soon!

Hey Everyone!

Today we had the first annual M.G.M. Production Summer Bash and it was a blast! Here are some pictures for all of you who missed the awesome party.

This picture was taken at 11:45 AM C.P.S.T. the exact time which I logged into Club Penguin.

We then all went to play Find Four in the Ski Lodge/Attic! I won about fifty percent of the games I played. There were some really good players!!

After playing Find Four, we all went to the Ski Mountain for Sled Racing! Although I lost every single game, each race was very exciting in its own way. I cannot wait for the next party!

I played three Dance Contest rounds with other penguins during the party and there were some impressive scores. Here were the three winners of the games we played.

Game 1: Arctic Sledder, Score of 3,753

Game 2: Beca941, Score of 6,079

Game 3: Ditto230, Score of 10,312

All of these scores beat my personal record, which is a mere 3,500. Just to give you an idea, to get that score you need to not miss 1 move in an entire song. So how do you get 10,000? Beats me! Now to the moment you have all been waiting for, the party winners.

Champ344 came to the party and was there almost the entire time! He and I are really good friends, however, he had to leave the party early because of a headache. Although he didn’t win anything, I just wanted to give him a HUGE thanks for coming!

Climmer is the grand prize winner of this party! He was online the entire party, and therefore, his reward shall be blogroll on http://simmer27.com for one month and he will also be in the next moderator poll. Yes, there is one coming up soon. Climmer was also on the simmer27.com’s chatbox during the party and he wanted me to clear up some stuff where people are saying that he copied my name. People are saying this because “immer” is in the end of his name. I just wanted to say he did not copy me, he was just being creative and thought immer sounded cool at the end of his name!!

Club Penguin released a new clothing catalog today, here are the cheats.

Aqua was released in the clothing catalog today and you can purchase it for 20 coins!! However, if you put it on, it does not look very different from Light Blue .  Go to the Lighthouse and hear the sounds of your instruments just like the Music Jam!

Click on the Piano to unlock the Red Viking Helmet! Open and close the Red Viking Helmet 4 times to get the Blue Viking Helmet.

Click on the word “Penguins” in the Penguins at Work sign to get the Crystal Staff.

Click on the shell to unlock the Canteen!

Click on the highlighted window to get the Woodsman’s Hat.

Finally, click on the Dragon’s Shadow to unlock the Blue Dragon Costume!

That is all of the hidden items in the August Clothing Catalog! Hope you enjoyed! This catalog had alot of hidden items, accept strangley there where none near the front of the catalog.

As you probably know, there is construction going on around Club Penguin to prepare for an upcoming party.

There is construction at the Town, Dock, Forest, Beach, and the Beacon! The construction is happening because Gary is trying to lift Club Penguin to fix the Pool Leakage issue. However, there is no leak at the pool. Personally, I think Club Penguin is running out of ideas but that’s just me.

Question of the Day: Why do you think Club Penguin has not added a leak to the pool which we can see?

Club Penguin released a new newspaper today, and it actually gives away almost everything that is going to happen in August! YAY!!

First of all, Club Penguin announced that Aqua will be the new Club Penguin Color! You will be able to purchase it for 20 coins in tomorrows clothing catalog.

Club Penguin also announced that the Festival of Flight will be happening on Club Penguin to fix the Pool’s leakage problem. However, if you go to the pool on Club Penguin, you will see that there is no leak there what so ever! Awkward right? Now for the current events.

Coming to Club Penguin tomorrow, August 7, 2009: Aqua & the August Clothing Catalog is released.

Coming to Club Penguin Thursday,August 13,2009: Issue 200th of the Club Penguin Times will be released! Woo hoo! Be sure to give a pat on the back to Aunt Artic
